Reason: Umbrella tag.

What was the resolution, if we ever reached any, on the validity of tagging pixiv_fantasia at all? I still hold it's a content-free tag, which gives absolutely no information whatsoever. I'd keep it only for posts explicitly mentioning Pixiv Fantasia, such as post #841881, and convert it to original for everything else.
Don't we also use tags that are included with the picture on pixiv?
post #833563, for example, is tagged as black ops on pixiv and while you could say that the FAMAS looks similar, its not readily apparent.
I also thought we had a precedent for including tags from pixiv if they are relevant.

Not automatically. A lot of pixiv tags are total gibberish. The importance of pixiv tagging is related more to settling disputed over who a character is or that sort of thing.
Also, I didn't know we had five different pixiv fantasia tags. Is there any distinct difference among them, or is it just based on when they were posted?
I could go either way on tagging pixiv_fantasia but I'm leaning pretty hard towards saying we don't need five unless they had well-defined themes.
Pixiv_fantasia is a big event with consensus theme (fantasy) much like oekaki_musume, so I think it's legit to tag and treat them as a copyright. About different numbers, we can alias them all to the umbrella instead, but they're useful in finding posts though.
I have nuked quite a few smaller pixiv stuffs yesterday (like pixiv_beer, 2 posts).

The point is it has no theme. Or rather the theme is so vague and generic that its informational content is nil. We could just as well start tagging girl or anime.

Why? Small tags are very specific and thus good for searches, why nuke them?

Nah, if you look through the tag it does come to mind that the designs are made for a fantasy world. Someone who is into that will find the tag useful.

The tags I nuke have posts without anything in itself that refers to the event, nor do they have a wiki. I change them into original, which is good enough.

Fantasy, what an original concept! And posts with girls would just as truthfully be tagged girl, not to mention quite a few people are into girls.

Hmm... I guess that makes sense. Since the ones who upload this tag always only use pixiv_fantasia and not original, I thought it'd be easier this way.

Sounds like they do indeed have themes. Separate tags is fine then.
Everything in fantasia that isn't bad id or unlabeled is now tagged with the appropriate subset, feel free to implicate.
If pixiv_fantasia bad_id posts are impossible to tag then that's a pretty good indication there's no actual theme here.
I don't really care that many of them don't directly reference the project or are generic fantasy. I'd rather not lose information on which pictures were created by artists for the project... or any Pixiv project or other copyright, for that matter. Does potentially losing that data not matter at all?

fantasy
post #506516 and post #841390 aren't very "fantastic".
They're not impossible I don't care enough to read five hundred lines on 5 wikis in a language I don't speak to try and discern which pixiv fantasia they came from.

Neither do I care exactly which number they are.
But for posts that have the specific titles and numbers in them, it's perfectly reasonable to tag pixiv_fantasia_#. And I'd like to have ALL of them implicate the umbrella pixiv_fantasia.
watanabe_(pixiv_fantasia) - 15 images of a character from pixiv_fantasia_3, drawn by multiple artists, none of which I would tag fantasy.
Many of the pixiv_fantasia images are only loosely connected to each other, and it can be hard to see the connections that are there, but that doesn't mean that they're completely independent images.
No point in removing them, but I've been tagging Pixiv_fantasia_# pictures with original. I thought that was the consensus but I guess not!
