Aliases

Hi just wondering if anyone has a CSV or similar full of Aliases I have just set up a dev/test site and this would save me alot of time :)

You can generate it yourself with the API. See the last post by albert in that thread, and note that you can replace .xml with .json in the URL to get JSON-style replies.

Now iterate through pages until you run out of them. This way you'll have downloaded data of all aliases in JSON format, which you can then process as you like.

I still don't understand what I have to do, I run window's here and I am guessing this is something to do with linux. Thanks tho!

No, it's not directly related to linux. But it does need some basic programming skills, you'll need that if you want to run a *booru.

I run the easy install one "Shimmie" after i couldn't get danbooru working right

...which won't help you one bit with getting the aliases in place. Not to mention Shimmie is crap compared to danbooru. They haven't even had tags working properly (!) until relatively recently.

Well I wouldn't call it crap it work's fine for me (can't install danbooru so this will do just fine)<< Can't as don't have the brain power to install it :) As for the aliases it say's CSV's can be used. Guess i will just have to do without thanks for you'er time 葉月.
