What is the correct format to upload a flash/video

I have a video I want to upload to danbooru and I've used mpeg and avi, but they weren't the right formats. What is the correct one?

Flash format swf., or flv.

How do I convert a video into those? Only know how to make an avi or mpeg.

What is it you want to upload? Danbooru-related materials that aren't images are almost always flash files to begin with (flash games, vids from nico nico douga, etc.) so you should probably make sure it belongs here before going through the trouble of converting and uploading it.

It was a touhou related nico nico douga video but I've lost it's original source and found a youtube video that forgot to link it back. It's a minute and a half long MAD.

Well, converting it again will worsen the quality, so it's better to find the original source or the youtube link, download the .flv from there and upload that.

Well, I have the youtube link but how do you download the .flv?

flv files aren't supported? I guess it's only swf then.

Thats really not what we're for. We only barely tolerate flash videos as it is.
