The DB is foundering in the Touhou swamp

I find it fairly amusing that while almost all my other searches work there is so much Touhou clogging up the pipes that -touhou reliably causes a database timeout.

It's not Touhou. Every one of my searches that involves a -(insert tag) is failing.

I'm having success on and off... If they're actually doing a retrieve all then minus (tag) then Touhou is still a ridiculous 1/4 of the database.

Well I guess that's what Danbooru v2 is for. Ganbare!

Touhou isn't 1/4 of the database...yet. It's a little short of that currently, I think.

I believe it's somewhere between 20% and 25%. It doesn't have much to do with Danbooru itself, because there are so many artists in Pixiv who draw Touhou stuff and Danbooru is simply bringing them here.

Kinda inevitable in a sense.

i was thinking of having a touhoubooru or something similar, but heck it would mean more resources and problems.
