Banned artist wasn't an implication originally it was just an artist entry. albert created a system to ban an artist that deletes all the posts, adds the urls to the banned_artist entry, and creates an implication. This is a ridiculously special case and shouldn't be read as precedent for anything.

Your reply sounds like I'm trying to play the "it has been done before, so we must do this again!" card, a.k.a. appeal to tradition.
I don't care about "precedents" alone; I and ghostrigger said the alias a good idea for a number of better reasons, such as convenience for gardeners and a warning for newbies. (and the list of implications to forbidden tag would be a nice place to know what are all the forbidden subjective tags, together)
