fanny_pack
Great! Thanks. (now I linked it from the "See also" of bag)
Thanks. Are fanny pack and belt pouch visually distinct enough that they need different tags?
From my observation, belt_pouch have two or more squarish, military-looking pouches. fanny_pack is the single, oblong-shaped pouch commonly worn by hikers or tourists.
I think belt_pouch could refer either to a modern squarish pouch (as Hillside Moose mentions) attached either by a clip or a loop to an existing belt, or also to the more archaic style "tiny sack" style coin pouches that would also be tied or hung from separate belts. For examples, I'm talking about something like either this or this .
A fanny_pack is different, it is a larger usually roughly rectangular pouch with a built-in belt, worn centered on either the front or back of the lower torso. Something like this is just about exactly the prototype I think of when I think of a fanny pack.
