Let's suppose we have an image that is duplicate of other image (either exact duplicate or smaller/more compressed) so we make it child and the better one parent.
What i think, is that it would be good idea to remove all tags from this child duplicate, so it will not appear in any searches. It still will be reachable from the parent image if such need will arise. Of course before deleting, all appropriate tags should be transferred to parent image. And we can leave jpeg_artifacts tag, if applicable.
So what do you think? Is it a good thing to do, or am i missing something and it is actually bad idea?
