Right? like i said, even something small, any hint to guide you, it seems most of the times it goes down to "did the person who saw it, like it? no? then you are not approved"

I had a similar attitude to this when I was newer to the site but after a while I realised it was sadly not realistically feasibile. Thousands of posts are uploaded to the queue over a rolling three day period, which is already hard enough to see everything for the majority of approvers or straight up impossible for some who are busier. This is a voluntary effort after all.

There's often times, for myself at least, where I can't explain exactly what makes the image not approvable to me. It really can just be "I don't like it enough" more often than not. This isn't me speaking for all approvers by the way, just my own thoughts regarding the matter.

Why was this rejected?

Looks subpar compared to other posts from that artist that I approved

No comment, but the first four doesn't look up to danbooru's standard.

Can I get some feedback on this post?

Straight up low-effort poor quality compared to the rest of the artist's works

What's wrong with this one? It's anatomically sound and has clearly some efforts put into the rendering. When you compare to others solo bikini posts it's definitely not worse in quality

bad right arm

oh no, dont get me wrong, i understand its not realistic to expect a full explanation, trust me, i get it, but its frustrating as an artist thats trying to improve (as is my case) to not get any feedback at all, specially when i already got a few works approved (which btw i didnt thought it was going to happen at all) and then send something that i personally think its better than my previous work and get it rejected without a word.
But again, i know, too many works and not enough time to see them all and write something about them

Before I appeal this one, is it too sketchy/messy for the site? It's a reference / redraw of that one classic monster fucker meme.

Yeah I personally wouldn't risk uploading memes unless they are high-effort to a point where they're way above the approval threshold (as I estimate it).

None of the above three works violate any regulations, and other works by the same author have not been deleted from danbooru. There are many styles of art, and they should not be misunderstood and deleted. We look forward to and appreciate your response.

All three of these posts have a very small amount of tags in them, as if you did the bare minimum. Your uploaded art has a much higher chance to get approved if you tag them properly, regardless of the quality of the art itself. My advice is to just tag what you see, and if you still need any help (after you have already tried), ask for help in topic #12251.

not an approver but as far as i can recall, this is a myth. good tagging is highly appreciated nonetheless, though.

Strange, I check neutral/negative feedbacks on danbooru all the time to see what not to do, and I can recall times where posts of users don't get approved due to poor tagging... I may be very wrong, though.
