Is there a tag for literal traps?

That would be drop_trap.

I am also interested in this question. Another example is post #692050 which has numerous traps outside of the scope of drop trap.

We have a booby trap tag - perhaps it could act as an umbrella tag for literal traps?

If umbrella term is your preference, I suggest trap_(device) as one.

trap_(device) works as a general object tag.
