Odd, it seems to work fine on this end:
fav:titaniachkt fish brings up post #113922, favourited ~3 years ago
Is the tag/post still in use?

That is... odd. fav:LordKane773 bow_(weapon) should bring up post #92030, the first image you favorited.
Seems like something that's happening only to your account though, since I can also pull up 3-year-old posts in my favorites using the same method
Anyone else?

Yeah it is weird, and really annoying I am wondering if its some account level limitation, but I have a privileged level account.

I have no idea why this is happening, but if it persists you might want to let albert know. Also, try removing and adding back posts to your favorites and see if anything happens.
oh the favorites show up if I just view all my favorites, but scrolling through 1015 pages of favorites is a bit wasteful of time especially if I just want to recall a single image.
But as I said in my OP, that when I use tag searches on my favorites I get hit by some kind of hard time limit.
I think I will just email Albert with a link to this forum post and see if he says anything about it.
It's actually something implemented a long, long time ago by Albert to reduce server load.
Rather than based on time, it's just a cut off at 500 pages on the "classic" favorites search, aka searching through with tags.
forum #73173 <- I had the same question around the time it came up. After some searching a long time ago, I found the line of code implemented to create this limit, but I'm not sure where it is now. Either way, I still haven't found a way around it, 10 months later. Rather annoying when I want to find something in my favorites.

Yeah it makes searching via tags in my favorites VERY annoying, and means I have to go throught 1015 pages of favorites to recall a image, oh well.
