How do I redirect etrian_odyssey to sekaiju no meikyuu?

Tags -> Aliases -> Add
After you add it you'll have to wait until it is either approved or rejected by a admin.

So there's no indication that the alias/implication has been approved or anything. You just have to keep trying, huh.

There ought to be a symbol indicating that an alias/implication is awaiting review.

Right now there's no distinction:

Under aliases, at least, if you just list all aliases, the pending requests show up at the beginning of the list with a green tint. I don't see any such in the implications list, but maybe that's just because there aren't any pending requests (?).

Well then that's odd because, as you can see from that link, etrian_odyssey is an alias, it's at the bottom of the list and doesn't have green tint, yet it still doesn't work.

Double redirect issues, probably. etrian_odyssey -> sekaiju_no_meikyu -> sekaiju_no_meikyuu

Hi, I want to make a new alias so that if someone searches "yomi_(azumanga_daioh)", they get to the tag "mizuhara_koyomi". Am I going to have to make a new thread to request the alias?

In theory, you would have to make a new thread for that because your alias has nothing to do with this thread. Actually, though, you don’t need to make a thread because it’s going to get rejected anyways. We don’t create aliases for characters’ nicknames unless they’re pretty much exclusively referred to by that nickname.

I don't know, I think she's probably called Yomi about as often as Kasuga Ayumu is called Osaka. Necroing a 14-year-old topic probably isn't the way to go about it, though.
