I want to contribute to translations but I don't know how.
I tried clicking "Add translation" under Options but nothing seems to happen. According to wiki, a blank note is supposed to appear on the image but the only notable difference is a change in the current URL, which is appended a # upon clicking.
So, I assume I'm doing something wrong. Can someone please help me with this?

What image are you trying to add a note to?
Did you check the whole image to make sure you didn't miss the note?
You might also want to check out forum #38567, which is a helpful user script that makes adding notes easier.

Any image. I can't do it on any of them.

I installed it and clicking "Toggle translation mode" yields same results as "Add translation."
Do you have javascript disabled?
Try using a different browser. For some reason, nothing happens for me when I try to add translations in Firefox, but it works on IE.

Sounds like a browser issue. Do you have JavaScript enabled?

That also sounds like you have JavaScript disabled (in Firefox but not IE).

*.donmai.us is on my NoScript whitelist. And even disabling NoScript altogether doesn't fix the issue.

It could be caused by another add-on you're using. Try turning them all off. If that doesn't work, try a different browser.
This is strange. I'm on a lightweight WebKit browser at the moment and it works now. (Firefox's safe mode was no good either.)
