Comment abuse report thread

I looked at his comments for the last 6 months. The break down is as follows.
Total: 145 comments
Normal: 125 comments
Crude: 2 (insulting a character type or viewer type)
Calling the artist a pervert: 4
Wishing death upon the artist: 4 (1 directly, 3 involving contracting AIDs or cancer)
General insulting of the artist: 7
Combination of insults: 1 (wishing artist's first child is still born and artist commits suicide)
Insulting a user: 2

The bulk of the insults occurred within the last 2-3 months. The general problem seems is he's overzealous about the touhou series and won't tolerate others "corrupting" (depicting sexually) or "misinterpreting" his touhou scriptures. Also a few of his "normal" comments he was upset or had a bone to pick with something, such as users failing to understand what is canon in Touhou or the way an artist was depicting a touhou character.

I took a lot at that person's comments, while most of them are normal the ones recently have been completely inappropriate. I'm leaving a negative record and dmailing a warning. Wishing cancer on an artist is not just disturbing, but just plain old childish and stupid.

Let me know if you see any further comments of the same kind and a ban will be issued.

I just want all of the comments on that post deleted, since people can't stop replying to that first comment.

This seems to be a bug. The spoiler tags aren't working due to the double line breaks.

If a Janitor+ wants to edit it, remove just the blank lines that are within the spoiler tags and it will start working again.

A new Still Alive chain has started in post #1437425...you'd think people would get over that someday.

How is that related to comment abuse? That user hasn't made any comments from what I can see.

Some pages ago, this thread's purpose has begun to broaden.

If we want this to thread to be a general "get a mod's attention thread" then it should be renamed to something more appropriate and the OP should be updated.

Otherwise a new thread should be created.

I'm pretty sure there's an entire thread devoted to spam users who need bans.

Not exactly abuse, but what about deleting the large number of comments in post #446270 about the previous deleting of the large number of comments in post #446270 (the Meowth spam)? Maybe we can forget that ever happened.

User has been around since 2009 and made legitimate comments before, looks like a compromised account to me. Sent a PM asking about it. Probably a dead account though...

He was given a record in June for the same thing, though.

I've observed the majority of my comments being mass-downvoted...

Or should I be reporting myself here? Surely I'd have a record by now...

"Majority"? Less than 1/10 of your comments have negative score, which rarely goes below -2. Roughly the same amount has a positive score.
