e.g. typing in remilia_scarlet, izayoi_sakuya and hong_meiling, and then having all the hair and eye colors, clothes, accessories, etc. for all three characters at once

Perhaps letting the user select multiple tags would work. They would need to explicitly highlight which tags they want rather than having the default behavior be to select dozens of tags, so it may avoid the problems I mentioned. But it would also allow for more than one to be searched at once, which I agree can be useful for multiple characters.

Why not just disable related tags entirely and force people to fill out wikis then? That seems to be the easiest way to do it.

Creating wikis for 62,360 character tags is going to take a looong time. Removing related tags would hurt the quality of tagging until then.

Autocomplete doesn't seem to be working when negating tags in Opera and IE, maybe the minus sign messes things up. It's fine in Firefox though, not sure about Chrome.

Prefixes aren't supported yet (issue #1752). I'm not sure how you got it working in Firefox, since they're not supported at all.

What are you doing exactly?

It brings them up for the last tag when you first open the related tags form. But if you manually select another tag and press "Related tags", it will bring them up for the selected tag as it should.

If that isn't working for you, what browser are you using, and does disabling add-ons/userscripts help?

I've added nothing to Firefox in months so there is nothing that could possibly interfere with Frequent tags appearing. This is what I see when I click Edit: http://i.imgur.com/RjfGrEq.jpg

Tried it with one space for the pasted text, and the autocomplete didn't go away. I've even tried two and three spaces for the pasted text, and nothing works. Also tried inserting spaces manually after the pasted text to see if it would disappear, but it didn't. Apparently spaces have no effect on the autocomplete in Edit mode.

Spaces don't currently effect it, but they should.

2.19.0:

  • Janitor+ users can lock tag category from the tag edit page. Locked tags cannot have their category changed.
  • Spoilers will behave as they used to - they won't be rendered inline.
  • Tag fixes can now be applied to tags with 1000+ post count, in addition to smaller tags.
  • Various usability improvements for autocomplete.

The tag locking is intended for tags such as wacom or magazine tags, which frequently get changed to copyright even though they should be general.

I've recently noticed that the shortcuts are no longer disabled when I log in to my account. I've disabled them since I use many of those keys as shortcuts for other things in my browser, so having just this site behave differently is annoying. A short while ago they started working again, regardless of my account settings. Switching back and forth has no effect at all. The issue seems to persist on both my computers and in several browsers.

I'm unsure if this issue is somehow on my part or a recently introduced bug. I apologize if it has already been mentioned before, but I couldn't find any mention of it with the search functionality.

Can we have all pixiv images redirect to mode=medium instead of depending on where they're from? Pixiv moved the link to return to mode=medium to the bottom of manga pages so it's kind of frustrating to navigate if you just want to check tags.
