Possible tag alias pony -> horse

As a pony is defined as a small horse, there is probably no need to keep the tags separate and alias into the more general tag.

Wouldn't it be appropriate to make it an implication instead, since pony is a subset?

I wouldn't support the alias dolphin -> whale either.

I view it similar to the recent piglet -> pig alias.

Also a dolphin and whale are two completely different animals, related, but different.

Personally I view it more similar to aliasing chihuahua -> dog.

I guess the question is if we have any actual images of ponies, or are they all just from My Little Pony?

Damn, I should have read the entry more carefully. I drop the alias suggestion. As for how the tag is used, it looks like all but four images with the pony tag is for My Little Pony.
