Oh yeah, I forgot that dan2 changed the way to link to forums for no reason.

Actually it didn't change it at all. In Danbooru 1 you would have used the same forum #66086 to link to it.

What changed is the URL - the forum topic ID (eg. 6131) now appears in the URL for forum topics, while it used to be the forum post ID (eg. 66086).

Changing a tag's category is limited to Builder+ only if the tag has more than 50 posts. This tag only has 2, so you can simply type copyright:peassoft to do it yourself.

This is why I think there needs to be clearer explanation on help:tags. Even after you say that, I still don't know where I'm supposed to type "copyright:peassoft" to do it myself. Are you saying that on the posts that have the "peassoft" tags, I would edit the tags and replace "peassoft" with "copyright:peassoft"? That makes sense, but it's not as intuitive as those who already know that's how to do it might think.

As for whether it should be done...

I don't see the need to tag Peas soft anyway. see (topic #6131)

All I can tell you is that just as I went searching through every help page on tags and every forum page that mentioned "convert" or "conversion" trying to figure out the how, I looked for official guidance of any kind on whether studio information should get a copyright tag. Since I didn't find it, I just tried to follow existing practice; The first big-name studio that came to mind was Leaf, so I looked and saw that there was indeed a leaf_(studio) tag and it was a copyright tag. I assumed that meant tags for studios in general should be copyright tags and not general tags.

Correct.

I've expanded the explanations on that page on changing tag type. Hopefully they will be more helpful now.
