So it's my understanding that to two characters, Kagamine Rin and Kagamie Len, are the same person. Should we still be labeling them as twins? It seems like double persona is more fitting.

They're only the same person insofar as Ikari_Shinji and Sailor_Uranus are the same person.
Just because they have the same voice actor doesn't mean they can't be separate characters.

I'm not saying that they aren't separate characters. What I'm questioning is if they should be classified as twins, since they share one soul.

Another way to look at it is; two characters one spirit, or two bodies with one entity. I've also read -in a discussion about the song Black Vow- that they are a mirror of each-other.
