The "Five Oddballs", or otherwise known as the "Three Oddballs" at the beginning of Ensemble Stars!, stand out as the oddest of the Yumenosaki students, each having their own set of quirks. Each of the Five speak in an odd manner.
It was hinted in several event stories that there used to be 'Five Oddballs,' with two having gone into "hiding" seemingly, then later confirmed with both Shu and Natsume making their respective appearances. It's revealed Eichi Tenshouin created the Five Oddballs in order to make them the fall guys in his attempt to change the school's lax methods.
