While one can easily justify an ass-kicking, especially in touhou where that's how you make friends, only Sanae realizes her status in a videogame, and thus is the only one that isn't permanently dead. It's difficult to justify murder for anyone, bleeding heart that I am, especially on Kogasa of all people. One could argue that lethal force was obviously being taken as opposed to normal spellcard rules, so Sanae started out in self-defense, not to mention this may not be entirely unprovoked on the part of the Buddhists, but other than that, this seems overly ruthless, and Sanae's dialogue is too mentally-ill for her to be rational. She just smiled and killed multiple people without any remorse, one of which did nothing to resist, something normal people do not do.
