Is the comic finally coming back to more recent times?

...No wonder the art felt like something he drew when he first started the series. From the comment, it said that this one was part of the bonus content from the first volume of "Hang in there, Kogasa-san". Mizuki Hitoshi had to draw 16 pages of draft, which he has yet to finish. That's why he didn't have time to draw the daily 4koma.

Add the strange things they do and all... and it becomes extraordinary.

    Explains why it looks smoother.

HE'S a living umbrella with a bottomless stomach (and also a girl - don't ask).
SHE'S a sadist of partially divine blood.

Together, they fight crime. (And by "fight crime" I mean "draw comics".)

Or at least, that's how that sort of parody would be better translated into the sort of meaning in American English it would have in Japan...

I'm also sure they saved the Internet already on many occasions.

The spellcard appears to be: Rainbow Sign "Over The Rainbow" (虹符「オーバー・ザ・レインボー」). It's missing the red row on the rainbow, though.

Just what kind of request is that...?
    TAA!
The husband is a karakasa obake.
    That Sort of Story
    Don't call me "eggplant"!
The two of them fell in love and got married in a perfectly normal way.
But what's not quite normal about them is...
The wife is a living goddess.
    Rumble Rumble Rumble
...they are manga artists. A parody of the Japanese-dubbed version of Bewitched.
Ah, put some awesome toning over there.
