  • がんばれ小傘さん 342

    自分の日頃の行いを小傘さんに投影して描いてみようという日記漫画です。

    車もはらぺこなようです。
    淡路なら大きいSAなので大丈夫だろうという思い込みがピンチを招きました。
    そして当然のように淡路SAのレストラン、フードコートも閉まってましたよ!(笑)

    明日のサンクリは、間に合えばプレ冬コミの「さなこが」コピー誌を頒布します。
    8ページ100円の予定。18禁です。
    A23ホール K20b STUDIOはまち組ですが・・・まだ描いてますぜ!(笑)

    Drive steadily! Drive steadily! Going over 90km/h wastes a bit more gas!

    I remember when I was young and I was riding on my mom's car, her car was nearly at dead 0 to have her car fuel run out. We were able to make it to the gas station at the last moment though XD;;;

    Most cars can go under the E bar for another 10-20 miles. They might be fine, but I make no guarantee.

    We were going back home from an after wedding party, late night, pitch dark and the car stopped, my friend forgot to tank before coming, so what? I was going on foot to find a gas station, 30 minutes of walking till i found one, just to get catched up by him since some nice guy actually stopped and gave him gas for free. I so wanted to kick his laughing ass.

    I remember this happening so many times when my dad used to drive me to school....and he would have a car or truck that used Diesel....And no gas stations that had Diesel were around that area...

    Damn, it's like a tourist attractions at these service areas in Japan. Here in America (The northeast part anyways) all looks like a overblown McDonalds with a gas station.

    Similar to Korea, we have very LARGE service areas, where we sell lots of different things, some have small department stores attached, others little attractions, but you do get those which simply have a really large food court (I always liked those, but I would always go out of my way to find one with Korean Sweets or Takoyaki, I remember I spent 20,000 WON on takoyaki and 10,000 WON on Tteok when I went back in September, I regained my appetite then).

    I don't think I've ever seen a gas station that didn't have diesel.

    I don't know in dollars, I live in Britain, so it's around 1 Sterling pounds to 1800 WON, if you take that, I believe it's 1000 WON to 1 dollar. So I spent $20 dollars on Takoyaki and $10 on Tteok, well to be honest, takoyaki is fairly cheap, at around 5000 WON for 20 or so. Well, I was a glutton this september and october (still have some leftover yuyuko in my stomach) and I actually bought 35,000 WON (140 Takoyaki) worth of Takoyaki in one day, and managed to finish that in 3 hours. It's my favourite dish, you could literally bribe me with it and I'd come flocking to it (I can even smell takoyaki pretty much miles away). If you've never tried it, I'd recommend it, although, don't eat it straight off, you'll burn your tongue.

    They do. There's one right down the road from me. I'm pretty sure there's some off the highway... not sure about service areas, though. I've only driven on the highway at daytime.

    I looked at the operating hours of gas stations attached to NEXCO-operated service areas (Eastern Japan and Western Japan ), and have noticed that non-24/7 gas stations are surprisingly common in Service Areas--case in point, the Nangoku SA closest to Hitoshi's own Kochi only opens between... 7am-7pm

    It should be noted, though, my impression was that Service Areas in Japan started as something more similar to the US' rest areas (and were government-owned before 2005), and hence is more akin to a place where people rest and go to bathrooms, rather than buying gas.
