This has always bothered me about fairies that aren't Cirno:
Are their wings attached to their bodies or just in VERY close proximity (to allow removing/putting on clothes)

With Cirno, Luna, Sunny and Star, we know for sure that their wings aren't attached. Maybe this is true to all faeries?

Or maybe they cn make their wings pass though objects.
And why just fairies? what about other winged creatires, like tengus, or vampires

So they just clip right through... Would make it tricky to hide behind thin walls.

The vampires have their wings attached to their body, even if Flan's are weird. Nobody can really tell with the tengu, and there's a whole controversy over whether their wings are retractable, but I won't get into that.
