    目覚めは夢との別れ。……(マリオ3Dランドがやりたくて3DSを買ったんです。で、発売までのあいだ、夢をみる島DXをやってみることにしました。これすごいよくできたゲームですね。謎解きが面白いです。山岳地帯の曲が好きです。)

    It was a sequel in itself (though it was all a dream in the end). So it doesn't make sense for a game that never technically existed to have a follow-up sequel.
