So how is what she's saying in, for example, her second panel sentence: "Lookin' forward to it." different from what someone using a (the sudden collapse of my vocabulary at this time prevents me coming up with a more suitable word) proper dialect might say?

My first thought when seeing Mamizou was that she reminded me of Peggy Hill.

Basically, the more standard-English response would be more like "I'm looking forward to it," or a paraphrase thereof.
