Capcom claims that they tried to continue it and they say that Infune's absence had nothing to do with the canceling of Megaman Legends 3. Besides, Megaman Universe was canceled while Inafune was still in office. While the future titles are dead, for some reason, Capcom keeps releasing classic Megaman titles to other devices.

remember there was still the american box art megaman for the SNES hurr....
