Yeah, that too. She looked far less intimidating at the end of ep01 than the OVA version.
That too, I raged at Dead Master's new design. It's just messed up. I loved Huke's design, and how Dead Master looked in the OVA. Anime version is just... no.
I don't think Dead Master was intended to be the antagonist in the anime, that's why they tweaked her design a bit to look less intimidating. She's no longer look like some crazy psycho (now it's someone else's role) and more like a weak, hurting girl.

Seconded, Saw appears to be the primary antagonist here. At least that's what comes across when she tries to save Chariot during Kagari's "resolution moment". I wonder whose dark half she is...
