Does Nitori no longer have job now that the Hayabusa is back on earth?

I think it's more like Nitori is just very emotional upon the conclusion of Hayabusa's mission. There were a lot of technical difficulties and, for a long time, it looked like it would fail. To be completed successfully and with interest from the public had to have been pretty powerful.

also, having a successful end after long-time hard work is really guaranteed will bring you to tears like this ;_;

It feels like all sorts of stuff happened, but it came all the way home, so it returned safely. As you might expect, I couldn't worry about omitting the gag this time, so it got extremely serious. Naturally, the person didn't cry this much, but they were pretty overcome with emotion. Only to be expected, since Hayabusa finally came home after going through so much.

Reminds me of the "Spirit" strip on XKCD. Just like Hayabusa, it's a quite touching piece.

But Spirit didn't get to return home. ;_;
