And with that, Omoito Vier comes to an end and Morino Hon's Omoito series closes its final chapter.

Man, I have so many emotions right now, and I'm sure that once there's a translation they'll be even stronger.

Thank you RiderFan for approving these so we could upload them quickly.

Seeing this get approved, somehow inspired me to take risk and upload a doujin that I wanted to upload.

And it's very nice that I could finally read this rather than staring on chinese scanlations.

Thanks for the upload and to the translators.

    Bloody hell...just bloody hell.

That was a roller coaster and I'm sad to see such a truly great series end. I cannot wait to see what comes after though. With this kind of talent, there can only be great thing.

Oh... My... God. That was one of most epic stories I have ever read on my days here at Danbooru (and most of the stuff I've read in my life). An epic climax and a great ending (well, sort of). Started off small, and worked it's way up to an awesome four-part series. This is one of those doujins that I'll remember for a long time...

Many thanks to all uploaded and translated. Now if I could just find a hard-translated version to store on my computer...

Something tells me that this all could have been avoided if Alice was not portrayed as stupid. She should have been able to notice that Shanghai and Hourai had their own sources of power and shit.

The last page pissed me off when Alice still was incapable of noticing stuff right in front of her. I half expected that Alice knew the whole time and was just acting in order to test and see if Hourai was truly independent and not her semiconscious.

Seriously ever since chapter 2 when Patchouli noticed right off the bat I knew something was wrong.

It's not that she is stupid, but essentially she believes somewhat deeply that she would never be able to create a actual sentient doll, and that unconsciously makes her ignore things that could be right there in front of her, which much of humanity is guilty of.

But anyway, my hats off to morino hon, and even though I would have actually liked a happy ending, I applaud him for creating a extremely well-crafted story.

I was so worried that by some chance, by the smallest possible chance, Omoito Vier might not meet the expectations it set up in Drei. Hell no, this is way beyond anything I even expected to be able to expect from Omoito.

I usually don't mind spoilers, but I'm glad I did my best to avoid spoiling myself before actually reading it. It was a difficult wait, but definitely worth it. Granted, the usage of cliché is the downside but they don't detract the story in the slightest.

Mori no Hon seriously doesn't disappoint. I believe he's still selling his doujinshi online. I should try and see if I can get real hard copies. I salute Mori no Hon.

And I'm eager to see what he'll work on next!

Grimoire's seal somehow weakened and therefore took hold of Hourai and because of that, Hourai used herself to reseal the Grimoire. Now, it should be pretty much under lock and key and harmless unless Shanghai falls into the same situation

one of the things i noticed this 4 part series kind of went in a loop (to a degree it began and ended with Hourai saying the phrase "I am Hourai.") this makes me think if the grimoire's seal weakens again it would be Hourai2, and not Shanghai, who would end up having to seal it.

I think she did have Grimoire's key from post #1104734 but as the next few pages pointed out, The Grimoire was not using Alice's wish of making an autonomous doll, but Hourai's wish of becoming her special friend thus, she had to be the one to reseal the Grimoire.

That is what I got at least. I may need to re-read the whole doujin

It would seem the Grimoire's key isn't a physical one but some sort of a magical seal, because when Patchouli tells Alice to use the Grimoire's key she reacts by apparently trying to cast some magic, and that's how Hourai ultimately seals the Grimoire as well.

Makes it all the more tragic.

Also I really hope this post gets approved even if it's nothing special art-wise since everyone's left their thoughts on the whole story here.

This series is the only reason I'll accept Alice's Rank 2 status.

First Yakumo-ke, and now this. Mori no Hon and all the other doujin artists need to have paypal links. These things get so good... I just want to throw money at the people who made them.

Unapproved? Someone should pledge this, it's a part of the doujin.

Didn't want to sound like a nerd so I always refrained from talking about voice actors. Well, here I go.

Personally I'd like to start with Yonezawa Madoka for Shanghai. Ui's endless stream of "onee-chan!" in K-on! would fit so perfectly with Shanghai.

I'll admit, when I saw Alice in bed at the start, part of me said it was Hourai, just fully human/youkai. Also, I wouldn't be surprised that the rest of the dolls are waiting for her to regain her autonomy, regardless of how long that takes. All in all though, it was nice to see Hourai get the spot light for once.
