A little bit more lighting and shading can really put a lot of stuff Hitoshi does into food porn territory.

It's possible I'm going to have to draw loads of food items for this story line...which excites me.

The Yuyuko-sama person kept buying meat buns. They were huge! :-)

Apart from Kogasa as Mizuki-san and Sanae as his wife, there's no close correlation between the characters. Family ties are usually preserved, so Suwako and Kanako were Sanae's parents, but the rest of the characters are assigned to people who fit some sort of bill (see Utsuho playing both an American waitress and a waste disposal employee, or a multitude of Koakuma stewardesses)

Remilia, Flandre, Reimu, Marisa, Yukari, Chen, and Ran also seem to represent specific people.

You forgot Nazrin as she seems to be a specific friend of the couple's.

Right. I forgot about her and Yuyuko because I was mostly listing friends who were related to/associated with each other.
