2. Are those magazines just weighted, or are they also extended capacity?

On STI 2011 frames.

The safety is not activated you would see the hook part of the safety touching the slide if it was on.

Looking again they do look like STI frames on a MC Operator Slide by the trigger guard shape and mag well/checkering.

That safety isn't pushed up into the slide notch?
