Well I for one like it because someone put effort on this piece. I am also quite fond of ranting uncontrollably at things that just don't belong but I know better than to post about it. This is a community filled by all types of people if it's posted then maybe some part of the community like it, don't just push your ideals towards others. And remember that a hot head will never win any argument.

It's not anymore inappropriate than any of the other hundreds of crossovers/parodies/hacks we have here. Except that it's OMG PONIES MUST DOWNVOTE AND CAUSE DRAMA, and it really gets old.
Its just 4 photo, i dont care if its MLP or not, the uploading guidelines state that photography is mostly rejected, not to mention its ugly, so why SHOULDNT someone flag it for deletion really. If another mod thinks its ok, then it will stay.
Also you just feeding trolls if you take them serious and they will flag everypony, because they are pyromaniacs.

Hilariously, if it was a photograph of something like this: post #493869 and was not MLP and was handcrafted and related to say, Touhou, Lucky Star or any other thing an anime, gaming fan would like even crossovered it wouldn't have gotten flagged and if it did you wouldn't see people whining like this, "please, stop this, it hurts."
There's also a lot of tags with a lot of photography, like 2d_dating and otaku_room (pages 2-5).
They say mostly, but honestly I think it's so the site doesn't get overflooded with a bunch of photographs that have no relation to what the site is about. :/ Whatever that vague goal is at this point. o_O

He's not, though. I can understand why he's angry, but as a representative of an organization, one does not fly off the handle like that.
The point is, this doesn't belong on danbooru. It's not because it's ponies, it's because it's handicraft, because it's a photo, and because most of these are low quality. If it was just because it was ponies, danbooru would hold the same stance on the franchise tag as it does on the furry tag. It's true that there is a lot of pony hate around here, but that hasn't stopped more than 150 posts using that tag from being legitimately uploaded.
There's a reason that furries are treated with such disdain, you know. It's not because they fap to anthropomorphic art, it's because they make a big deal out of doing it. They're taking something socially questionable, trying to force others to accept it, and whining when, of course, it doesn't work. The MLP fanbase is heading down the same road as furries have. MLP might not have nearly as much of an emphasis on sexuality as furry stuff does, but that is totally irrelevant. People will shun it all the same if the fans continue to make issues out of people not accepting it. People like different things. That's a fact. Whining about it is only going to make them angry. I'm pretty sure most people who have posted extremely in favor or against ponies are just doing it for the drama anyway, regardless of whether they realize it or not. Either way, it has to stop.
MLP art has as much of a right to be here as Touhou art, but regardless of what individuals may think, the majority, or at least a loud minority, of the community here DOES consider both MLP and furry to be socially dubious. Advertising either is bound to get backlash, but that won't stop MLP art from getting posted unless it continues to cause drama for both sides. This particular posts, and the others like it, are an exception, however. This isn't the kind of art usually acceptable on this site, and we should maintain this standard for all applicable pieces.
Incidentally, I'm pretty sure post #493869 doesn't belong on danbooru either. It's just a figure. Usually, the only photographs that get approved are exceedingly clever or interesting in their own right. Neither this post nor 493869 are either, but I suppose sometimes they slip past the censors.
Bottom line is that MLP is fine being here, but unless either the pony fans or the trolls stop causing drama over it, it will cease to be fine. The trolls obviously aren't going to stop, so it's up the MLP fans to just stop responding to the trolls. Who cares if they think it's the stupidest shit in the world? Just ignore them, secure in the knowledge that you are keeping MLP safe on danbooru by doing so.

Figure + Photo shows 58 pages worth of figures and photos with some other photographs, way too many to be a mistake so I do not trust your statement.
Though, I'll just wait and see who's right wrong. :/ And danbooru never seemed much of an 'organization' so much as just a site trying to collect high quality anime-related images. High quality being way too 'beauty in the eye of the beholder' based to say for certainty what would be considered HIGH QUALITY.
Edit: Pictures that go back as far as 6 years by the way. Though, I also have to add it's possible that all of those slipped by but it just seems like too much. :/

It is arguably low quality because the photos themselves are low quality, no matter how good the work involved is. I can also see the advertising angle. Judgment call I guess as to whether more in one picture is better.
However, as a mod, Hazuki needs to be above it and not get into pissing contests with detractors or let his love of ponies influence his decisions. In normal circumstances, as long as someone in particular isn't making an ass of himself across multiple comment threads, we simply downvote these people and move on.

Its advertising and watermarked all the way to hell and back, granted its by the author, but this is a commission piece and really not that interesting or well-done. You already reapproved if after it got deleted once, let it die.
And you did delete an entire ARTIST because you didn't like his work, when your complaints were very similar to the ones being levied against you now.
