Well, its not like Last Order, Rikou or Mikoto got it better, I mean, just look at New Testament series (3rd volume was nothing but fan teasing and got dumped by Touma by the end of the volume) where anything relevant happens to them. At least, WW3 was literelly centered around Index until the end of the events and Touma's motivations and reason to keep going on was practically her.

BTW, what a bad drawing, the guy has long way to go, just look at Mikoto's legs, I don't recall her having misshapen limbs D:.
