It looks like a broom but it's really a keyblade, The Love Spark or some such. Marisa is the protag afterall and what do the protags in KH wield? That's right, keyblades. Sora: Kingdom Key; Roxas: two even; Terra, Aqua, Ventus: pick-n-choose element colorcoded keyblade trifecta; last but not by any means least, Riku: duh, keyblade. I thinks there's a pattern that applies.

Somehow I am thinking of the Drive form as Blazing Comet, which would default in using Sonic Dash as the primary attack.
