I find it sort of morbidly humorous that Olimar is dressed as a whimsical grim reaper and his pikmin are dressed as dead/ghost pikmin. Hopefully it's just a costume on their part...

Perhaps it's the sign of an infinite loop? Those kirby and King Dedede are looking through the window of a house on a cake and there's another link but there's another Kirby and King Dedede looking through the window behind that link and...well actually the kirby in that window isn't wearing the ghost outfit so maybe link was just caught in the middle of a hobby or something. Every new link probably has their own little things to do.

Actually, the Kirby in the window is white. It's an infinite loop. :D
