Someone explain this one to me?

It's from a scene in mahou shoujo madoka magica only with mirai nikki's characters.

The characters match actually very well with madoka's scene. The doll appears innocent at first but is actually very scary (like Yuno). Aru..... dies to Yuno by being beheaded in the manga (as opposed to Mami). Aaand Yukiteru (Madoka) is supposed to be showing fear to the incident of Aru (Mami) dying.

Don't forget the similarities between Aru and Kaworu not limited to but including the way they look, they share a voice actor, both love the protagonist creepily and how Kaworu himself died in NGE...

I honestly think this needs NGE tag too.

It works on another level because the Yuno we know in the manga is a decoy and not the one from this time around.

Add the fact that Nagisa is voiced by Asumi Kana, who voices Yuno, hence a namesake. Now, that's maybe overreaching it but it goes to show that this pic has aged like fine wine.
