Goomba. Magikarp becomes useful when it reaches level 20.

At Lv.16, it becomes a Para-Goomba.

But....is it a Grass-type? Ground? Dark?

Goombas evolution has way more types then even eevee when you really think about it.

Well, its a mushroom, so I'd guess Grass type. As for evolutions, Paragoomba gets Flying, Gloomba and Dark Goomba get Dark, Goombeetle gets Bug, Octoomba and Goomdiver get Water, Hyper Goomba gets Fighting, Jack O' Goomba get Fire, and Tanoomba and Spike Goomba stay pure Grass.

And then you get into the mix-and-match like Dark Paragoombas which create additional type combinations.

Would probably still make it a grass-type. Since a chestnut is a legitimate plant, even more so, than a mushroom...
