the most hated enemy from my opinion. . i dont like when he two-handed it and smash it at me. . instant kill on my level 30 and vitality is 18 , , but i praise for his armor set tough . . look solid and cool :D
He's not that bad, especially if you have a good weapon. In fact, here's how to kill him before even the Taurus Demon.
Choose Master Key as Gift, open door from New Londo Ruins to Valley of the Dragons. Grab Astora's Straight Sword and the shield from Undead Dragon. Pump Faith enough to use Astora's effectively, whatever stat you need to get a 100% physical absorb shield, then backstab Havel repeatedly. Enjoy the best ring in the game for heavy armor characters in about 20 minutes.
For extra credit, make sure you're holding 1 humanity, exit the tower into darkroot, hug the left side until you find the path down, and backstab the Black Knight repeatedly. If he drops the halberd, you have one of the best weapons of the game in half an hour. If he doesn't, you only wasted half an hour, you could just start a new game and try again.
