I see a brighter part on that "sphere", I suppose it can be called "light reflexion", but if that "sphere" is actually darkness, how can darkness reflect light?

Because otherwise all we'd get would be a black circle, like a hole in the page. Call it artistic license to show there's actually something there.

So it's not darkness at all really. It's blackness.

Did anyone picture a gif of Eva-01 bursting out of it?
