The original Shinchan is awesome. There was a channel that broadcasted a politically correct dubbed version in my home country, but it sounded too bland and was quickly dropped because of that.

Anyway, people around here prefer to watch crappy soap operas of obscenely rich people fornicating themselves, while the real society strives to pay their debts...

Maybe they didn't like the "comedy enhancing" performance of the joint together with Shin-chan and/or Ren&Stimpy.
