I do not know of a single person that is not upset with the decision that spelled the demise for the Huckebein series as we knew it, come OG2nd. They will be missed by all. 008L, you were awesome even in OGs' 2nd half. MkIII with your CT system, especially the Boxer AM, may you be embedded in all of our memories and your demon spawn be shunned. I salute you both and bid you a fond farewell.....'till you return 07
Honestly, besides the name, I think the Ex Exbein is a worthy successor to the Huckebein series legacy, and who knows they might rebuild the destroyed Hucks with upgrades in the next game.
Just got my Copy of Og 2nd, Played it with my brother and saw what happened to the huckys.... He said "they finally got rid of those not-gundams." so i responed "at least there more popular than those not-hckebeins in Age."
...Wait, what happened to all of the Huckebeins? I've only finished the first half of OGs.
The initial Huckebeins resemble Gundams (also designed by Katoki Hajime), so there was some sort of copyright dispute back then between Banpresto and some Bandai-related subsidary (usually rumors mention Sunrise, but some mention Sotsu). End result of this is that they pulled off most of the Huckebein model kits from shelves, and the in-universe destruction of all Huckebein units.
Fans later call this issue the "Huckebein Problem".
