Reimu got off easy. The usual punishment for insulting Mima is a slow, painful death.

Mima was looking for a way to be useful, as all the housework was done before Marisa and Reimu left. Reimu's actions made her feel unwanted.

But she came out after Reimu called her family.

That makes more sense. I thought Reimu made the pudding herself (Out of coffee) and just shocked Mima by adding more coffee to it.
