I never liked how they just magically tied up all the things at the end with time skip and short resumes about what happened, but still one of the best and longest manga's I have read

I hear you. To be fair, though, the rushed ending was largely due to Akamatsu's opposition of a new proposed copyright law in Japan. http://astronerdboy.blogspot.com/2012/03/new-proposed-japanese-law-reason-ken.html

So there is a possibility of him revisiting Negima! down the road and fleshing out the finale as he'd originally intended.
