I'm not sure whether to say "nice camo" or fear she's died.
I feel it is more that the world has died, leaving her one of the few beings still somehow surviving in the nothingness. It is as if nothing alive but the plants is left.
Notice how in all of the works depicting Suwako in this ruined world, not a single animal can be seen? No birds, no mammals, not even bugs.
For me, it is telling me the story about Suwako, one of the few lone entities that will continue to exist even when all other life has ended.
How life could suddenly end I have no idea. But I feel like the artist is trying to convey the immense loneliness behind living in a world truly devoid of life (other than plants). Especially for one such as Suwako. :/
