Alphes's artwork for Futo really does make her look like she's 7. Considering that the game revolves around thrashing your opponent while getting more popular for doing so, this is going to make every fight involving her exactly this awkward.

Her portrait makes her look 7, but her sprite definitely doesn't.

Alphes art is inconsistent in both proportion and looks that's why take it with a grain of salt. I mean touhous look young but not that young.

I blame it on the tate eboshi that adds a foot to Futo's height.

She's be at least shorter than most of the characters. From the looks of the screenshot, she's kinda small (though my eyes are not the best judge for that) considering that Marisa is sitting on her broom while Futo is standing up.

And then Miko was announced to appear...
