Seriously? That's like making fun of chibi artists for not putting detail into their work. Because you know, its the type of genre it was in. hoshizuki_(seigetsu) for example has shown that he can draw much more than just Chibi Parsee.
And what part of my reply claims that I made fun of Mattari's usual style? I liked it myself, and even then I've always seen some artistic deficiencies in his work. It only makes this work a clear sign of effort and he even kept his style intact. Besides, most of Mattaris work isn't chibis.
I simply used chibi as an example. Azumanga Daiou is a good comedy slice of life with very simple character designs. Comedy genres don't need to be super detailed. Mattari's work deals mostly with comedy. We aren't ment to gaze at the "Quality" of his art and simply take in the funny situations the characters are in. He doesn't need to spend an hour working on individual body parts like eyes or hair when working on giving us a quick gag.
No one bats an eyelash when characters in a gag manga go slightly deformed such as magically extending thier arms to grab another character or having thier eyes pop out of thier sockets.

That artist is weird. He only draws horrible hentais except for Parsee.
maybe so but they do the job, that and art of this quality is usually reserved for covers with a few exceptions (Izimu for one, he does such quality for ALL PAGES)
