Fun Fact: As of this writing, the standard Drought Ninetales runs Sunny Day to steal momentum from opposing Sand and Rain team. Most offensive variants also carry Solarbeam to decimate any opposing Politoed, Hippowdon, and Tyranitar foolish enough to switch in on Sunny Day.

I could see that Ninetales as the new bodyguard for the Princess... specially considering her two bodyguards are weak to Fire.
