She's a Yamabiko, which are canine/lupine through mythology. It's a case of "Close Enough".

There's been some commentary on the forums against the idea of character pools in general. If we must have one, I'd say to only have them if the basic image plays up their canine nature. Baring their fangs, IMHO, wouldn't make that bar.

I really dont see the reason for this beef. Who exactly suffers from character pools and why?
