Same "Aokaze" catgirl from post #142517, still don't know where she's from though.

The guy seems to refer to her only as 蒼風 (Aokaze, which I think is usually a surname). In an older post, he responds to a comment that said ">このサイトの蒼風を見て、蒼風の可愛さを再認識(ぉ", so it doesn't sound like she's an original character, but I still have no idea where she's from. You could just tag her as "aokaze" for now, since that seems to be her name. Maybe catgirls don't need a first and last name.

Or it could be just that she's a recurring original character of his, which is how I'd read このサイトの蒼風。

That's just like Icelanders :). You don't really need a last name unless there's a significant chance of confusion, apparently catgirls named Aokaze are not common enough.

Oddly enough, I swore I had done that when I posted the first image, but I guess not. Maybe I was thinking about it, but closed the tab before deciding. Seems like there's no existing Aokaze tag to worry about, so aokaze it is.

Actually, on this point, what do people think about using "character" types for various site mascots? I've done it before for jirou's U-tan and Eroppu because they're frequently recurring and have 20+ images each and I think he's done doujins with them. This isn't quite as clear cut though. Thoughts?

You need to read the entire sentence. "After seeing this site's Aokaze, I rediscovered Aokaze's cuteness." He couldn't have 再認識 her cuteness if he didn't already know her before visiting そのサイト.

I think it's ok for any frequently recurring characters. I even created a "yomogis_red_eyed_megane" tag for a recurring original character whose name I don't know.

Note: as per my comment on the other Moyashimon pic (post #145309), oryzae-tan is the yellow thing. Still don't know a source on Aokaze, unless she's indeed a recurring character of the artist's
