6 looks pretty much like hypnotic waves... so... it casted hypnosis or whatever the new generations call it? gameplay mechanics? you are going to have to bring someone who want to google the pokemon skills
Now that Pokemon X/Y are released, I still don't know if this ties into Gameplay Mechanics. According to Sylveon's dex entry, it is capable of releasing an aura that can calm people down, but seeing as that doesn't come into play in battles for likely-obvious reasons, I'm not sure how to call this. Would someone who knows these kinds of things care to weigh in?

I wouldn't tag it as so since it isn't actually a gameplay mechanic. The Pokedex Says pool should be good enough.
