I'm not sure she's opposed to M.X Reimu - she doesn't get into trouble (that often and that seriously), and she's easier to manage, once you set her up with a stable job so she can keep herself caffeinated...
In the last few strips dealing with the shrine itself, it looked like she's gotten used to her role as Reimu's surrogate mom.
